Now that my engine is sorted it’s time to finally do the exhaust. Catted AA downpipe with a custom titanium center exit the entire length, resonator but no muffler. Excited to make loud teenager noises ??‍♂?

BC let's you do that without stacks of noise complaint tickets?

Probably. Maybe. There are some crazy loud cars in my town, louder than this thing will be, and it's always been like that... so I'm thinking it'll be all good.

Well, on Monday, as I was leaving work, my A91 and a Subaru Legacy decided they wanted a much closer look at each other, and it very well could be the end of this particular chapter in my MKV storybook.. That's all I'm going to say at this point.

Physically, fine for the most part. I got an interesting abrasion burn on my left arm from the steering wheel airbag. There's an easter egg in that wound pattern ;)

Mentally, still processing. This car is really special to me, but it's still just a car in the end. It won't be fully realized until I get word from the insurance company if they deem it a total loss or not. Then I have to figure out my next move..

Dealing with insurance and the tow companies really sucks so far. No response for days from insurance to get a tow scheduled. Finally got one scheduled and they dont show up. Schedule another one and they show up at the end of the day. I also told my insurance person that my car will not fit on a typical flat bed truck because its too low. What did they send? A flat bed. The guy laughed when he saw my car, said he wasnt even going to bother and drove off. Now I have to remove my splitter and diffuser just to get it over to the body shop.

Hope you get sorted.

Did insurance comment if it's totalled or not?

Damn brotha! Same happened to me. But she took the hit well. They totaled mine. Gave me over what I paid. Hope the market is still in the same situation in that regard. It is just a car but… like you, I really enjoyed it. So, I immediately started searching and found another grey with red interior in 2022. Love your beige interior and CU later grey. Best color combo imo. Glad ur okay!!
