Rolled it out for more cloudy pictures. Can’t get enough of the stance + wheels and the fact that it’s finally over 45* in NH.
Damn that looks good! I’d get that one in a heartbeat ? if I knew I wouldn’t break it ?Had Adro carbon lip and side skirts installed. Ordered mirror caps and hood vents to match. Yiso carbon fibre rear diffuser on its way too. #carbonfibreanonymous.

Any squeaks? I tried running ATE 200 and it made the master cylinder squeak.- Oil change with LiquiMoly 5w-30 special tec and BMW filter (the massive oil stain on the garage floor was there when I started…?)
- BMW factory air filter (found a K&N in there from previous owner ?)
- Stoptech Z16 brake pads (drove to work and back today - NO DUST!!! ?)
- Ate Typ 200 DOT 4 brake fluid flush with Motive power bleeder (yet brakes are suddenly soft as if I let air in somehow???)
- BMW factory charcoal cabin air filter
- Hand wash
This was over the last several days, but drove to work today and got to enjoy the car so it counts as ‘today’.
Also got lots of looks and thumbs-ups today - including a guy behind me at a light clearly mansplaining with hand gestures to the woman with him how the roof on the Supra is a double bubble.
Same! Love that lip. But I can't bring myself to put anything cf down there in front.Damn that looks good! I’d get that one in a heartbeat ? if I knew I wouldn’t break it ?
Absolutely it squeaks, good call! Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to read up on that. I need to flush it again, but I have 2L of Ate 200 - perhaps I should save that for my Audi DD.Any squeaks? I tried running ATE 200 and it made the master cylinder squeak.
Based on research from the F8X BMW forums, ATE doesnt play well with some BMW brake systems.
I ended up flushing it back out with Motul and havent had any noises since.
One of the major disadvantages of DOT5.0 fluid apart from a spongy pedal feel was it didn't lubricate as well as DOT 3 and 4. Same probably applies here.Any squeaks? I tried running ATE 200 and it made the master cylinder squeak.

Probably poorly worded but my point was brake fluids across the DOT ranges vary in their lubrication properties. Maybe the ATE 200 in exceeding the DOT4 and 5.1 dry and wet temp ranges by a healthy margin gives away some lubricity to the brake and master pistons.ATE 200 is a DOT 4 fluid
