Went to my local Toyota dealership in hopes to buy the clip. They said they don’t have it and no one can ship one in for them, gave me a part number (ended up being wrong) and told me I’m out of luck. I didn’t sweat it because I just ordered it online. 60$ for a single trim clasp later and we are back in business!

Well I wish this was case closed but unfortunately not. The parts department called to tell me that Toyota does not have any clips available in the country.

Called up a BMW dealership, told them I have a z4. Got the clips for free within an hour. The support from Toyota is just downright sad for this car.
