I'm a bit of a detailing nut. I'm curious what everyone else is using to keep their car looking great.

My correction arsenal includes:

Griots G9 6" DA
Griots G8 3" DA
Rupes wool pads
Meguiars cutting discs
Meguiars ultimate compound
Meguiars ultimate polish (I've used many pro level products, I find this 2step the easiest that gives me the best results)

Post correction/ceramic maintenance and wash kit is:

Carpro Reset shampoo
Carpro reload sealant
Craftsman electric pressure washer
Blackfire foam cannon
Griots water deionizer (spot free dry, no toweling required)
Adams air cannon for blowing out doors, mirrors, any tight spots water gets into

I personally use Megs micro fiber pads coarse and fine with Rupes fine and coarse compounds. I have a few random hex pads that I sometimes use if I still get some marks with a microfiber but rarely do those come out unless the paint is super soft.

I really like both turtlewaxes ceramic spray as well as meguriers hybrid ceramic. I use both on my Tacoma and my airplane. I use a Karcher powerwasher and chemical guys honeydew soap with an MTM foamer.

For the supra though I went gtechniq, C5 wheel armor, Crystal Serum on the paint, C2 on top of the wheel armor and the Crystal serum as a top coat. I also use all of gtechniqs fall out removers/cleaners/detail sprays/etc to make sure they are safe with the coatings.

Finally I use a dewalt 20v leaf blower to get the water off IF im not using C2 as a drying aid to bump protection.

That's what's on mine right now. Crystal serum ultra.. it's a beautiful coating. I did not apply it myself, ceramic coating is something I always pay for because I want the warranty.

The light version is unbelievably easy to use. You could do the entire hood and wipe it off without it even starting to dry unless it was 100 degrees out. I typically do my coatings in the winter/spring where temps are 40-50 degrees and the work time is huge with crystal serum light.

I messed up the coating on one vehicle (but it was a cheap product) and have been timid about it since. I might look into giving it another shot.. that does sound easy.
