What's leading you to sell your Supra right now?

For me, I may be selling mine this spring to jump into an ND3 miata.
TLDR, I turo'd an ND2 miata last year and found it more fun than my Supra in almost every way.

This is super interesting to me, as I traded in my ND2 Club RF 6MT for my Supra. I feel I have more fun in the Supra but understand your viewpoint as well.

I always felt I was physically too big for the ND2. Visibility was better, but that RF blindspot was tough also.

I also felt a little underpowered on Texas highways, where average speeds are 80mph. I noticed I was bullied by trucks and SUVs more often than other sports cars like my FRS, Boxster, or WRX.

Just my thoughts, don't mean jack at the end of the day. You'll love the ND3!!

Appreciate the insight! (Especially since I'm leaning toward RF over soft top).
And in all honesty if I lived in Texas, I'd probably share your opinion. Having that natural playground and being able to consistently open up the B58 would make a big difference.

Up here in the north east the roads are way more tight and technical in comparison.
Not to mention if you go 80 on a highway you're getting pulled over and ticketed (I'm looking at you route 9).

It is nice having both. Gotta admit. But sometimes you do get that feeling…

Selling their Supra? I spent a lot of years buying cars for more than the Supra I liked much less. The GT-R was always my dream car coming up a young lad and once I got it -I realized all the things you dislike about your dream car before you experience them. I drove my wife’s Supra before ever buying mine because I fell in love with driving hers a few times. Unless you go to much bigger toys it’s going to take a lot more money to put the same smiles on your face and in that regard downpipe and a tune if you’re still stock. I love the BMW interior and performance and yet still raw enough experience to really enjoy the driving part of the car. I’ve just driven so many cars that fail to deliver or impress the way I thought they would only to find the Supra all these years later and be extremely happy with it 3 years later is unheard of for someone like me who use to change new cars as quickly as 6 months in frequently and always had 5-6 cars minimum. Don’t sleep on your Supra- if you can afford to keep it and add a new vehicle so you won’t regret it, most or all of your depreciation has already set in and won’t be much more depreciation ahead due to limited production of the Supra along with the fact almost all the new inventory is barely there before it’s gone again.

Yes totally understandable for those with changes in family size or financial constraints after the fact. Otherwise there’s not really any point to sell it unless it’s a need.

BTW - Can I have all the money back for all the cars I lost my butt on over the years that weren’t as good as the Supra? J/K gotta pay to play! ?

Totally agree ... I do get bored easily so I could see myself moving on at some point. Having said that, despite the annoyance of dealing with all the fanboys that drive rusted old Nissan's crying about the Zupra , there is very little from a performance standpoint that matches this car.

I could go (back) to a Porsche or it would have to be an actual super car at this point.
