White Spots on Rear Windshield

Today, at dusk, I noticed for the first time a lot of white spots (not water spots) in my Supra's rear windshield. I do not need polarized sunglasses to see them.

Is anyone seeing this in their Supras? Is this something that the dealer would cover?

That usually happens with subpar tint. Is that window tinted?

No, it is not tinted.

I wonder if getting it tinted might make them disappear into the uniform darkness......

That's comes from tempering the glass. You can see it more so with polarized sunglasses and when looking at certain angles in the sun. It is completely normal.

ever look at PPF with polarized lenses? That will really freak you out.

From inside, the window looks hazy that’s what prompted me to clean them and this when I discovered the spots.

In direct sunlight, I do not see the dots. It's crystal clear.

Yep. Harder to see with the tint, however.

I've seen this on all the cars I owned, just the right angle and sun glare. Hell, I've seen it on my 74 Lotus Europa special, 68 VW square back, back in the day.

I wanted to make sure this was normal before I posted my cars all have these round figured ghosts.. would suck if all my cars where haunted or my eyes were now seeing things like how I hear things.. what?
