Window Trim Removal

Doing some work on the Supra today and I need to remove the black side window trim. Is there a technique to removing this part?

It pulls straight up, but you need to be careful as the thin metal rod that gives it shape bends easily. So slide it up evenly and gently!

So to be clear, just pull it straight up? The two sides are pressed into place?

13:30 for me destroying mine by taking it out unevenly. But yes, straight up.
