Wiper and Electrical Issues

Just finished driving about 4 hours away from home.

After dinner I turned the car on and have continuously been getting wiper failure messages on my dash. It also seemed like the Sport button wasn’t responding at first, as well as I want to say I noticed the climate controls flickering a bit.

I also noticed when I move the wipers to auto they will wipe once then return to the elevated resting position that auto normally has.

Any suggestions? Concerned as I’m quite a ways away from home.

That was my initial thought too.

Drove around for about 2 hours yesterday with absolutely no problems.

Guess I’ll be making myself comfortable at the dealership this week. Are they able to do a legit battery diagnostic to see if a replacement is needed?

If you’ve got an OBD adapter and BimmerLink check for any codes. If they’re relating to low voltage then it’s the battery for certain.
