Had a new windshield installed last week. On the way to work today , my driver side windshield wiper would audibly clunk half way through the up cycle and then again on the way down. Don't know if the passenger side one was doing the same. Is this an easy fix??? Or should I take it back to Safelite and have them correct the issue???:dunno:

Most times this happens because the window is dirty. Since its a new window it could have some adhesive from a protective film used in shipping. Use some alcohol on the whole windshield with a microfiber, then use a good glass cleaner. Ill bet it stops making noise after that.
