I was wondering if you guys use a knuckle spreader tool when removing the front struts? And if so which one do you use?

I used the Schwaben Spindle Spreader Tool (mfg #scw3435). But, be advised I had to put it in exactly this position or it wouldn’t spread the knuckle enough!

I used a chisel and hammer. Just make sure the chisel is parallel to the strut and doesn't poke towards the strut.

Not a Corvette.
I took mine off the car because I was also doing SPL arms. Was so much easier, but I'm also used to working on AWD.
