2020 bone stock supra except for brake pads. No real access to tuner near me so went with the JB4 with the Bluetooth option. Had one on a 2016 Golf with good results. Bought the flex fuel kit as well. Install instructions seem to indicate that for the JB4 to see the ethanol percentage I need to install the 0-5v wire. Is that correct? If yes, how the heck to I do that. JB4 is installed on drivers side with cable through firewall to OBD connector. Sensor is in fuel line, also near drivers side. Hot wire goes to red connector on the passenger side and chassis ground is also there. The 0-5v pin wire also comes out of the harness at the hotwire side (passenger). Pin goes into the 14 slot on the JB4 on the drivers side. Thatā€™s a distance of about 4 feet with a wire that is, at best, a foot long, maybe 2.5 if I strip it out of the harness (donā€™t want to do that, harness is woven) Any one else run into this issue and, if so, how did you solve it?

I haven't installed that part of it yet, but I plan to just cut the wire, splice on another 4-5ft, and splice the pin back on. Unless you cut off the harness shroud and replace it afterwards, I don't see how else you do it. That being said, the fuel it app works fine in the meantime.

Thanks, the splice and dice was my thought as well. Iā€™m considering getting it on a dynamometer sometime in May depending on cost and availability. If I do, iā€™ll Post them.

Check out the bmw n54 forum. They have a section for B58/48 and jb4 is gospel over there. Lot of the issues with installs/functionality are well documented there. Most info is bmw related.

Been scanning if for a while since they also have sections for the Kia Stinger (what I currently drive) and this is pretty much where Burger Tuning started with the JB4. LOT of info for the Bimmer drive train so there may be answers for the Supra drivetrain questions I see on this site
