AMS catted downpipe issue on 2021

Long story short, I'm on my 2nd AMS downpipe (first one had a rattle at the flex pipe area that bothered me and I didn't want to risk installing it) and ran into a fitment issue yesterday where the top O2 hits the exhaust manifold. I notified Speed Industry as I purchased it from them (and sent pictures to AMS) so now it's a waiting game to see how this will all get rectified. In the meantime, has anyone else with a '21 had issues like this?

the 21 models use the same downpipe as the previous ones. You might have gotten a defective pipe

2 defective pipes in a row?! Sheesh...I thought AMS was all about quality and getting what you paid for? Lets hope they make this right! Let us know how this turns out!

I had to pay shipping to return the first one back to Speed Industry and for them to ship me the 2nd one. After it's all over, this might be the worlds most expensive downpipe.

Thanks for letting us know. I was going to buy an AMS downpipe. It looks like AMS didnt account for the longer manifold. That upper sensor bung needs to be rotated a few degrees.

Small update: AMS asked that the downpipe be sent back to them to see what's going on (possible one off issue as I've heard of other '21s running their catted DP). I've been working with Alex and Daniel @ Speed Industry and the plan is for them to send me an A.A. downpipe as a replacement.

I have the ams catted downpipe sitting in the box still. Also have a 2021. Haven’t tried installing it yet but I guess I’ll hold off until this is sorted

I can post pics of the AMS I received so you can compare. The top bung needs to be shifted clockwise about 1-1.5"
