Front strut braces

Has anyone painted the raw aluminum struts in the engine compartment yet? They LOOK easy to remove, even though they've got some kind of weird nut on them. Maybe possible topaint them in place if careful??

i think a regular 11mm socket can take those off if they aren't torqued on too tightly.

^ That looks so much better than the stock Schwinn bike look. The small decorative decal also adds spice.

My car didn't even come with a pair.. that sounds gutless.
(mine runs BMS anodized black)

I was thinking about wrapping them. Paint sounds better but easier to mess up. Powder coating seems like the best idea but hard to find good shops around here.

I took mine out and painted

like how the red accents the rest of the hints of red.

I originally wanted a clean look and not too much red. But then went completely opposite ?? “Out of sight, out of mind” red +5hp

Better yet, just remove it all together. Looks way cleaner!!!
