Another day, another random issue for my Supra. Parked my car at work, no problems, I leave work and I have this straight line crack from top middle of the windshield and it curves. It’s longer than the pic shows.
I don’t know how it happened, it wasn’t a rock or anything since there’s no chip & it’s so clean cut. My buddy said it’s a defect and I need to contact Toyota asap. Thoughts?

I loved the Nardo Grey wrap, but this is good too. Reminds me of Technoviolet.
haha. My nardo wrap was getting really badly damaged and since we had to rewrap the car anyways, I figured I may as well do it in a different color from my other car...

~ That’s correct many other Supra owners have had the same issue and most were replaced under warranty.
Thanks! I contacted them and they sent me to Safelite (who apparently does their windows). Called and the automated voice lady told me I have to go online. Went online and it told me I couldn’t set an appointment so I had to leave my email and number. Now I’m waiting on a call back within 12 hours. Love my Supra but it’s like pulling teeth whenever I need to get something done.

With you 100%. And it would be worth it, if you didn't need something done on a somewhat regular basis. My Supra has been to the dealer 3 times in 1500 miles.

I always tell myself... Next time, I'm done with it. Then I pick it up, fall in love again, and then it's 'ok, next time, is REALLY it!'

...Am I in an abusive relationship with my Supra?

I'm removing all traces of chrome from this car (plasti-dipped the Supra emblem as well since it showed a bit of chrome). Last left was the GR emblem and i was only able to locate cheap Chinese versions of it in black as I don't think Toyota ever made a Black GR emblem from the factory. You can find these on eBay and Aliexpress for about $10 shipped, figured i'd give it a shot.

45 days later I finally got these 6.7mmx2.9mm Black GR emblem

Finish appears to be perfectly fine, it is the same height as the OEM one and about 1.3cm longer. They include double sided tape, but 1, i dont trust it, and 2, since there is a curve on the bumper i needed to stack up. I used 3m double sided tape and stacked 3 lines of tape.

EDIT: This is how the rear of it looks like (i guess there's an option to screw in through the bumper?). I cut up the 3M tape and added a total of 3 layers (2 layers will equate to a flush rear, and a 3rd layer will allow it to stick to the bumper). In the last picture you can see the white "fake 3m" double sided tape which I didn't trust:
