So if i get a new exhaust using the stock down pipe does that void warranty? And since i am using stock pipe will that prevent the dreaded CEL?

Almost all big names that are selling cat back promise no CEL. Your warranty is valid unless the mod you do causes a problem. But I’d guess you could swap it out before needing to take it in, can’t imagine sensors being able to tell there’s a better exhaust on when you have a stock dp

Yea it's going to be pretty hard for a dealer to negate a warranty claim if all you've got is a catback exhaust considering the car isn't measuring or adjusting anything after the post cat O2.

Though IMO the stock exhaust on these cars sounds fantastic. I could only see myself changing for a full Ti in the interest of weight savings, but to each his own.

That is where i am at right now. The stock exhaust sounds really good. Do i want to spend 1500-2k+ for a little bit more deeper tone? Prob not even worth it

We can help you out. Feel free to text us.

We can narrow it down with budget, if you want valves, how loud you want, tip preferences etc.

Save your money and just get an AA downpipe. No CEL. Better sound. More power. I can't really tell a difference with my Armytrix exhaust versus stock.

Sound is very very important if sound is important to you. To me after market exhaust is necessary. It opens up a muted symphony in my mind
