Haven’t burnt a drop of oil after making the switch to 0w-30 for about 650 miles now. I’m comfortable enough to start shopping around for an exhaust.

I plan to keep stock dp until I can tune (dme locked) then I’m going catless.

I want a straight pipe sounds with gunshot pops (thinking of awe track) but I need to be able to have a “quiet” mode. Cops in my area pass out exhaust sound tickets like candy. I need a way to avoid It..

Does the sport button do anything for awe track exhaust? Does the 180 sound design have a controller? Is there another option that utilizes the dampers? I need to know my options!

I love my active autowerkes exhaust. And it uses the stock valve. So can switch between comfort and sport just like OEM. Also feel free to use my code

Which is where I bought all my performance parts.

Well I can't speak from personal experience yet because I literally just placed my order for it, but the Magnaflow Xmod exhaust might be perfect for what you are looking for.

It has the sport mode valve and literally lets you replace the mufflers with straight pipes. You can run a muffler on the left side and the straight pipe on the valved side. So when the valve is closed all the exhaust is going through the muffled side and when you hit the sport button and open the valve you are basically straight piped.

I went to 5W-30 after 800 miles and have not noticed an oil issue either.

Agreed, that’s the first exhaust I thought of when I read OP’s post

I ran mine like this but run in regular mode most of the time....removed fuse 203 to keep valve open ....might as well have bought an unvalved system.....really like the xmod .....perfect sound for me with the valve open....

I have a HKS exhaust and it's has a great tone. ~6000 miles with the stock oil and no oil loss. I follow the break in period exactly.

Haha yeah I def wanted one with the valve option to keep it quiet when I take long road trips or am just not in the mood for noise.

I love the sound of the HKS exhaust based off the videos I've seen. But it seems like the quiet mode on that exhaust is just as loud as the sport ?

Have hks hi power installed with titan catless dp
And i can Personally tell you the difference with valve open to closed is night and day in my opinion. The car is pretty close to oem with the valve closed even with the catless dp.

Damn really? All the videos I've seen it's loud as hell, then again they're in normal mode but they're flooring it.
