Wait, so you sold the MKIV and got a MKV? I thought you didn’t like the MKV?

They were mutually exclusive events. I sold the MKIV to a friend of a friend for stupid $$$ with one phone call. Been in the community 2 decades, owned/built 5 MKIV, exceeded all my goals so was time to move on. The disco parts situation was taking a lot of the fun out of it anyway.

Wasn't me! I don't drive any of the cars I care about after dark during the rut.. deer.fucking.everywhere. Have had several close calls recently and my wife even hit a deer in one of our prior MKIV day before Halloween some years back.

Hah, I don't blame you! That really sucks.

Mods were delivered before the title arrived..! ?

I've been following along with the mod/aftermarket progression since day 1 and the potential is undeniable. I enjoy tracking the progression of stock to basic bolt-on to beyond and this is a great platform for that. I'm just not in love with it enough (yet - hopefully) to make the leap into a big build, though.

What’s up team MKV NC! Happy to join the party, picked up an A91 after looking for one for quite a while. Going in for PPF in a couple of weeks so not really driving it yet. Any other Refractions in the CLT area? I cannot believe how good this car looks in person, i just finished a full paint correction on it and it’s unbelievably awesome (if you’re into blue). I’ve seen a few around town but had yet to see refraction in person until i purchased it.

Wanted to stick it out and wait to see if they were going to make a manual but there were no guarantees that they would offer another MY in blue, plus that and mark up/availability…yeah, all that.

Hope to see the CLT folks at the March C&C, I’ll have the PPF on by then.

Only pic i have for now is a detailed car sitting in the garage on a battery tender. :-| /lame!
