South Wales here. Any excuse to get those run in miles :D
If I had mine for summerI’d be very happy but I think it could end up being almost autumn. I’m also now wondering if this ukraine crisis will have a knock on too. I hope not but the way things are going these days who knows

I'm in Hampshire, but on the border with Surrey.

Anyone bought any accessories yet?

Car is currently out of service as I got a puncture on the near side rear tyre on Friday. Have a mobile fitter coming to the house on Wednesday to replace the tyre.

I’ve got some spares to sell off my FK8, alloys and some interior accessories. Whatever I get for them I’ll probably put into something for the supra.
I want to get one of those dongle things so I can have a play with BimmerCode and then I think I need to drive the car for a bit to figure whether it’s the steering wheel or the alloys that bother me more.
I had thought about a set of springs but the more I read about these cars handling better at standard height and the more pictures I see of these cars on 20s I think I’m more tempted to stick at standard ride height and 20 inch wheels. They seem to fill the arches out enough without a drop.
I’m not planning on doing much else really. Maybe a back box delete but I need to live with the car for a bit first to decide

Are tyres easy enough to source? I’d read a few guys in the states were struggling

I'm planning on doing a few things but first on the list is the android auto retrofit, bimmercode and exhaust mod

I may then look at an intake to get more noises, spacers, spoiler

Then longer term possibly tuning

That seems to divide opinion!
I read you have about 1000 miles to seat the rings properly so I’m thinking it needs a few 2nd and 3rd pulls at least. I think I’ll probably give it around 300 - 400 easy miles then make a point of a few hard runs upto the 1000 mile mark

Very easy to source in the UK, it is costing me about £250 with fitting from a mobile tyre company. Would obviously be a bit cheaper if you took the wheel or car to them.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL are a summer tyre, I did consider changing them all for an all weather variant, but to be honest they have been very well behaved with all the miserable weather we've had here, so I couldn't justify the cost.

That's good to know about the Michelins @mwilkinson as I'm a big fan of the PS4S and that was going to be my deafult. They treated me very well in wet, wintry weather.

As for accessories I'm going to the get the red cigarette lighter cover that says 'Fire Missiles". Beyond that, it's staying OEM. Might get some internal storage solutions.

And maybe a spoiler lip....

@Chappers the US threads suggest it's 1,200 miles. And yes, about sealing it's important to do some early pulls, so they say. I'm working on the basis that if something was absolutely critical, you'd be told about it. I'm just going to be gentle until I have educated myself on the car and it's handling.

10 year warranty after all ?.

Regarding tyres - there's a really good YouTube video on the "Don't know what tires to get? Watch this" thread, a very thorough comparison and I'll be taking the advice on board when the time comes to replace the current tyres. The Lightening Yellow Supra is a bonus!

I was looking at hks springs as they keep struts and electronic adjustment, possible new alloys. Undecided on exhuast as factory sounds great I'd possibly look more at catted down pipe but not sure on how much hassle it is on a a91 and a cel light.
