its a surprisingly well engineered thing tbh. it has stops/adjustments that keep everything where it should be. Also, the actuation is super smooth so it doesnt really add a ton of annoyance to daily use

thanks dude, i really appreciate it! For better or worse, I havent paid a soul to install anything on my cars. Lowkey would rather do it, mess it up, then redo it but understand how as opposed to never gaining the knowledge in the first place. *unless* its engine work, im too dumb for that LMAO

I installed an FTP intake pipe... BUT! What was awesome was: I crappily wrapped it in heat reflective tape last fall and stuck it in a cabinet in my garage where projects go to die. So over the weekend I pulled it out and saw how horrible it looked. I pulled the tape off and Goo Goned the adhesive off. I must not have wiped all of the Goo Gone off because starting and driving the car produced a lovely, slightly orange scent for about 10mins while the cleaner heated up and dissipated. I felt fancy. Highly recommended.

FTP intake pipe made no discernable difference in sound or performance, but it looks pretty.
