Did track event at autoclub speedway ran a 1:56 flat ... still working on braking and corner exists to improve time - first time timing myself on track, 5th track weekend so far with the car, I did reach my goal of getting the car over 155 with a top speed of 158 into turn 1 & 2 and hanging on throughout that corner with an exit speed of 140 into the straight for turn 3 was super fun time

Finally had the balls to run with VSC turned off and boy throttle steering is amazing - turns 5 & 6 and the playground were just so fun to throttle steer through with slicks
Where was my invite!?

I run nasa socal every month … well at least when we are scheduled … I will be at Buttonwillow in Oct come have some fun so far I have been the only Supra that I see more than once but I usually see quite a few on a weekend between Saturday and Sunday and try to talk with them all but they are all in HPDE 1 so I really haven’t had a chance to drive fast with another Supra yet

Sick dude!

I was there last weekend. My best time was 1:56.9, 160 through turn 1 and 135 exiting 2. ? Pretty fun track

I wrestled with traction control cutting the power hard in turns 4 and 6 but it was my first track day so I wanted to understand the limits and where it kicked in before I start turning things off haha

Depends on when in Oct. I have a race the 15-16th. I will also be in Fontana this weekend doing auto-x if you want to swing by. You ever make it out to Street of Willow?

I have not yet run streets but have been on big willow a few times now, Buttonwillow event in Oct is the 8/9th. sadly I can only afford to go to the track once month  ... Also prepping the car now to put in a full cage and upgrade the suspension goodies so I won't be on track again for a bit

Nice dude, when I started out I was doing about 2:05s on Saturday and then Sunday I was able to get my time down to consistent 1:56/1:57's I really needed to practice braking at the tip though I brake really early since I am afraid to go in late there and losing a lot of time... same thing in turn 3

I was leaving my traction control on for the past few months at the track, mostly because I went off once at willow springs going down turn 4 into the right and wanted some nannies because I was scared as shit I was going to do something wrong and wreck the car

It took me about 4 months of going 2 days a month before I was comfortable with just turning it completely off but I am just a noob that just starting racing

Got the Titan exhaust installed today. I'm gonna grab some pictures later weather permitting in the evening.

Hopefully all my way back home Chicago peeps are parked inside right now! Good luck and be safe with the tornados and bad weather right now!

I feel that! Turn 3 is so hard to get the entry right. The hardest part for me is getting the car settled after the hard braking because the rear moves around so much since i have absolutely no downforce back there lol. I went wide on 3 twice after my 130+ exits of turn 2, but managed to reign it in at least once for my PB. Lol

Got rid of the most god-awful banshee shrill from a stone that bounced somewhere into one if the brakes. Jesus it was terrible.

I've had this happen to me twice now with the Supra. It's such a horrible sound and equally as embarrassing when it happens in public.
