I lived in Maryland for 56 years.
The powers to be mandated emissions testing on all vehicles <25 years old. AND they made you pay $14 for this test. Cha ching for Md!
Thing is, anyone over 65 yrs old was exempt from the mandate.
Soooo, was it an environmental movement, or a $ making movement?
Thank you Florida for not mandating emissions requirements.
OK, I'm off my soapbox.

Love my GR and the lovely sounds it produces when the pedal is buried. Amen.
This is really interesting. What was their reasoning for an exemption for the 65+ population?

No explanation. That's just the way the "tax state Maryland" works. Crap, they even tax your federal tax refund if your lucky enough to get one. ?

If you tax people enough, you can fix anything ??

Emission regulations and electric cars are going to save the planet…. Good thing we’ll all have to switch someday. So what charges the all batteries in the EVs? Must be zero emission power plants ?

This was too funny and just had to post....

Went for a drive through downtown DC. Crazy, with the fireworks and crowds..... but said why not.
Half the roads are closed, but we had a pleasant little drive ... breaking necks and slackening the jaw of the occasional onlooker.

On K Street, a nissan Z pulls a right turn as I'm stopped at the light. He gives me the finger and drives 45 feet to the next red light. The girl goes, "I could have sworn that guy just flipped you off!"

I love this car so much.... I'm still laughing.

Sometimes being slow is just too much to handle ?

Just dropped the car off at the shop for transmission mounts, differential mounts, and front and rear sway bars w/ SPL end links! No damn way I'm dropping the rear subframe myself. Hoping to get it back today, but I think most realistically tomorrow. I probably should have held on the sway bar install, given I have a set of aluminum rear subframe mounts coming from across the pond in the near future, but I have more money than brains and don't have any timeline on when they'll arrive.

@SD_MK dawg, swap your rear wheels with your front. Then your car can scale rocks.
