Hey just letting you know, our US spec downpipe have more material and are a higher cell count, you have a OPF filter but the Dp is actually less packed, euro code is 908 and is actually what US spec 340/440i b58 gen 1 have, US spec cars have 890 and 701 codes which is why the downpipes are more expensive state site. So you would not have any more flow and I would be concerned tuning wise as it more respective, may upset computer. I have both in my hands as I type this, 2.7lb difference in weight as well, 701 us spec being heavier.Hey guys,
I’m from France and I’m looking into acquiring an OEM 3.0 exhaust and DP US specs.
I’ll need it send to France or to a friend in US.
Cause on our 3.0 mkV we have a 800cell DP and a particule filter in the cat back…
Hey if you don't sell to him, I'll take it off your handsMessaging you. Have a DP, and *might* have the stock exhaust still at the shop I use.
Thanks for the tip!Hey just letting you know, our US spec downpipe have more material and are a higher cell count, you have a OPF filter but the Dp is actually less packed, euro code is 908 and is actually what US spec 340/440i b58 gen 1 have, US spec cars have 890 and 701 codes which is why the downpipes are more expensive state site. From what i learn (might be false) the US OEM DP as 400cell while the EU one as 800cell.Hey just letting you know, our US spec downpipe have more material and are a higher cell count, you have a OPF filter but the Dp is actually less packed, euro code is 908 and is actually what US spec 340/440i b58 gen 1 have, US spec cars have 890 and 701 codes which is why the downpipes are more expensive state site. I was hoping after talking to some French Supra owners that the US DP was less restrictive being 400cells vs 800cells in EU spec. Thanks for the tip!
Just to make sure, only the US downpipe is heavier, right? The EU full line has to be heavier because of the particle filter.
Maybe Valhariel is just looking for the noise, our exhausts are much quieter?
Yes, unfortunately that is not the case. Active autowerke catted which uses Gesi cat is 400 cell. OEM is much higher. I can ship you a Active autowerke gesi cat (400 cell)From what i learn (might be false) the US OEM DP as 400cell while the EU one as 800cell.
And yes, the obvious goal is to improve the exit flow before tunning it
and make more pawa!
yes US dp heavier, but your catback is a little heavier, because instead of where we have a very hollow resonator, you have OPF. You also have more restrictive valve tuning ( is it closed more often then US spec cars)Thanks for the tip!
