Alcantara vs Leather Seats

Hello all,

Here in Australia we can choose what seats we have in our Supra, specifically the Alcantara/Leather or all leather seats. Just wondering if anyone could chime in on differences and which they think are better. To put things in perspective, here in Australia the Alcantara seats are a ≈$4500AUD (≈$3000USD) option on the 3.0 premium model.

Thoughts? Opinions? Derogatory remarks?

I have the 2022 CF edition Supra with the Alcantara/leather seats. I also have another car with all leather seats. I like the combination of Alcantara seats vs all leather due to heat build-up during the summer. It gets pretty hot with all leather until the AC or cooled seats kick in. Another plus is the looks of the seat over time. The combination seat will tend to hold out longer from wear but even that will depend on the care of each seat material done over time. My choice would be to get the combination if you can afford it and will be in the car for long period of time.

Yeah.. that was my thinking too. Just curious about others' opinions. I'm a believer of buying once and buying it properly so spending a little extra up front makes sense.

I love my combination seats. It also breaks up the material so for me I think they look better. However my car is a 2020 base 3.0 and came with those from the factory.
