That seems right; we don't really know yet.Another thing to consider is what kind of horsepower/torque that this new MT/clutch can handle. I'm assuming we don't have good information on this yet.
You may rub a little. I've got the 265-295 setup and there's basically no gap on full lock when stopped (I'm also lowered on coilovers with an alignment, so there's that). I've felt rubbing on rare occasion. I think a 275 will rub depending on your suspension geometry.Weird thought.. Could I mount the stock rear tires (only 1k miles) to the front and buy some 295s for the rear or would there be rubbing? I'd imagine the traction and handling would be great?
I agree. A BBK would probably come after the tires, suspension, aero, and pads + fluid, considering cost as well.No need for a larger brake kit. The OEM calipers work just fine with upgraded pads and fluid.
I'm running 275 in front stock suspension, no rub.Weird thought.. Could I mount the stock rear tires (only 1k miles) to the front and buy some 295s for the rear or would there be rubbing? I'd imagine the traction and handling would be great?
If you wanna be around 500 wheel, about where the stock turbo max's out, doing the unlock (not the full clone) running a software like BM3/MHD with e50 and a downpipe will get you there. Thanks for everyone's replies. I currently track a 550whp 911 and have raced several cars in wheel to wheel classes in NASA for 10+ years. I'm pretty familiar with dialing a car in. I'm looking forward to the Supra MT and learning all I can here to make the car even better.
There are no standalone setups for A9X's right now.don't want a standalone setup. I
