What I'm saying is, it's "not in there." You won't save money. Two completely separate installs. You don't remove the intake manifold to get to the cames.
I understand that, guys. If I factor in peeling the web of wiring back that's laying on top of the motor, Uber trips to and from the shop, account for time I'm away from the office to do this (which I pay for in other ways than money), I'd rather have the convenience of getting it all done at once and save a few bucks while I'm at it.That won't save you any money. You don't have to remove the intake manifold to install cams and you don't have to remove the valve cover to install an intake manifold.
