Tried to start the car this morning and it was just cranking and cranking, wouldn't start. Tried it again and it started right away. Checked my scanner and found these codes. Thinking my fuel pump has somehow already died at 10,000 miles. Any thoughts?

Is your car tuned? Ethanol blend? How long did it sit between starts? Was it cold outside?

Dead FP is the least likely scenario.

Hey, the car is completely stock. I drove it the night before, and it was approx 55-60 degrees outside

Did you find a solution?
I am having the same problem.
Mine is tuned at Stage 1, running on Europe 98 Octane and sometimes 102.
But starting took some time even before the tune.

Most likely there should be some dirt in the “reverse flow stopper” at the fuel pump don’t know the name in english but you know what I mean.

Mine has done this about twice. Fully stock. But no drivability issues. I chalk it up as a quirk.

It will get worse. Only time that’s it’s ok that this happens is when you don’t drive it for weeks or months. Otherwise it should start straight up after 2-3 “wobbles” :D

I would look it up myself but I don’t have the tools to do that bcs afaik you have to remove the exhaust to get to the fuel pump.
I have an appointment on Friday at Toyota, let’s see if they will fix it on warranty or not.
It’s not clearly said at the law that a small tuning voids warranty.

Yes I got it fixed.

My tuner said something went wrong when flashing the ecu.
They reflashed it and car starts perfectly at first try now.

If you want to go for some troubleshooting you can use BimmerLink.
Use the measurements:
-Battery Voltage
-Rail Pressure
-Oil Pressure
-Engine RPM
-Ignition Angle Cylinder 1-6 (Should be something like that I don’t know the English Version of the App)
-camshaft sensor

connect and check or start recording before starting the engine.

I saw some wired Ingnition Angle on an Cylinder like -4 degrees while the rest was at ~-1 I think that was the culprit at least for me.

While I did the troubleshooting I found out that the reasons for that behavior can be:
- Ignition
- Rail Pressure (fuel)
- Oil pressure
- Battery
- loose camshaft sensor

if you got some questions feel free to ask.
I hope my English is some kind of understandable :p
