Having EPC hand carry mine to Femto next week. Jumped on Black Friday MHD deal for super license bundle. I’ll run OTS map to cruise on until it starts warming up again then custom tune w/ CES

The quality of the OTS maps is higher in my opinion. Sure you could get a great custom tune for BM3 and it would be equally as smooth.

I also love the fast flashing times, and less complicated settings. Seems tuners prefer it over BM3 cloud-based tuning as well.

I went with bm3 and I must say, my first flash took 7 secs too! The ots maps also remove the torque limiter. I choose bm3 because I feel there are better tuners for it compared to mhd. I've read on here, better numbers on bm3 compared to mhd. And the e30 is so much better Than the jb4 e30 custom tune.

Both. But also, B58s (and many modern platforms) use torque demand as the input to tune the rest of the car. HP is just torque X RPMs/5252 right? So you demand torque to provide the HP that you want to market. Then you set limiters around that.

You can also see the exact reason why torque is limited during various parts of the curve in your logs.
