Drivetrain malfunction after putting in unlocked ecu

I just installed my ecu that returned from femto today and when I go to start the car it gives a drivetrain malfunction. I honestly have no idea why this is happening. Maybe is it bc I haven’t flashed a tune? Any help is appreciated

Reseat your DME plugs. They're quite easy to assume fully latched, but not.

Also, searchbar.

I second that. Recheck make sure latches are on tight when you flip them down. If you can yank it out easily it’s not on correctly. Good luck.
