Post 6/2020 ECU unlocked in US

I also went with MHD as a preference since I already had XHP Flashtool. I'm loving both! 93 OTS tune and stage 2 XHP.

However, I'm still waiting for them to release the Multi-map function like BM3 has had already for over a year.

Multi-map as in on the fly map switching, I take it?

The thing is they claim to already be able to 100% fully unlock these ECUs for some time now. They say they’ve already done it.

But they’re too busy “building the world’s fastest McLaren” to bother “finish testing” and sell the unlock. Because that’s the shop owners “priority.”

The R&D is done. Everything is done. They’ve literally already unlocked cars. It’s all done and ready.

They’re just too busy building some McLaren that nobody cares about to make $ off their hard work and ingenuity

Anyway, that’s the story they told me on the phone.

Anybody else is welcome to call them and hear it first hand.

But my reaction: their story doesn’t add up. Sounds like horseshit. I proceeded to purchase an ECU from a forum member here that has been sourcing them immediately after talking to them.

And the timeline they said is now “really close, hopefully by end of February” ?

I literally believed 0% of it. Don’t hold your breath guys. Could be wrong, JMO, but doesn’t add up.

Yeah... Whenever I decide to run a marathon, I make sure the prize is worth it, then I do 6 months of training, run 99% of the race and sit 10 feet from the finish line until I feel like crossing.

I could unlock your ECU as well, I just don't feel like it right now.

Yes they do have an unlock and have unlocked multiple supra's (2 of those Supras a members on this forum). It's a real thing that they have developed but they are way more interested in building the McLarens and AMG'S. I spoke with the members who were unlocked by mega 3 a while ago and its a full unlock and they even developed their own app for tuning. My thought process is honestly it's not a priority for them as they are more interested in big builds and to that I say it is what it is. I'm unlocked through femto cause I got tired of waiting a while ago and I'm happy enough on MHD stage 2 OTS.

Ah yes I forgot to mention this. I can flash xhp and MHD both from the same hardware. Coincidentally I’m also running stage 2 on both with 93 octane

What does the XHP trans flash do exactly and would you recommend it?

It is a “tune” for your transmission computer. It allows some flexibility and nice to have features. Mainly finite control over shift points, and increase in line pressure for guys slipping clutch on big power.

Having EPC hand carry mine to Femto next week. Jumped on Black Friday MHD deal for super license bundle. I’ll run OTS map to cruise on until it starts warming up again then custom tune w/ CES
