Okay so I completely understand this argument, and similarly I understand this argument coming from guys who still go Femto but end up on BM3.

To get the same smooth power delivery, and the same numbers you get on MHD OTS tunes you have to spend at least the same amount on a JB4, and even more money for a custom tune either for the JB4 or BM3.

The jb4 is great for being a stop gap when cars aren’t tuneable like the C8, but when the Femto option is the same or less, and Pureboost maps are soo good, why sacrifice?

Love your knowledge on this stuff! Because I know nothing about shipping out an ECU and all the stuff that goes with it. With that said, I love tracking this bad boy and my JB4 tune with Jessie feels incredible (and smooth). Maybe I got lucky and/or just really happy with the small gains running on 93 octane. I really don't want more power for tracking and absolutely love all the suspension goodies for this car. Can't wait to see how @kingdooksdb makes out. His car looks awesome and sounds like he's going to get some crazy power with y'all's help

Anything more than stock power on track is a handful. Personally I flash down to lower power when I’m being serious about carrying my speed instead of smoking tires.

Yeah, I don't want her to overheat. And definitely don't want to smoke tires. But that little extra "boost" coming out of an apex is a beautiful thang. Or extra power on the straights...

Are you still running the stock downpipe? That valvetronic exhaust sounds so good.

If not running stock downpipe, any concerns with the lack of tuning on the car right now??

so my particular problem whenever I tried to get the custom map through Jesse during wide-open throttle in third gear my RPMs will hiccup or we get fuel cut or overboost, or some combination of those three

Interesting. I'd be curious to know if others are having the same problem with the MT. I'd expect boost control and fueling to be different between the auto and manual, so it doesn't really surprise me that things are a little finicky.

So the real question... what did you do with the jb4

im going to ship it to femtos in Finland I’ll be letting Visconti take care of it.

I just got my ECU’s back today from Visconti. Amazing customer service and they were quick to answer any question!

So the real question... what did you do with the jb4

id be willing to sell it at reduced and reasonable price! Especially since it was removed before I had the chance to unpair it from my car probably a tiny inconvenience
