they mostly do, the difference will not be noticeable between the different brands

I ran Kenji catless for about a month then went to a 5". (Yeah I know exhaust exit still 3.15") No issues with the Kenji, no cel. Sounded slightly better than the AA. Not really hat raspy too, may by due to my Valvetronic exhaust. You will notice the smell. It doesn't bother me tho.

I have had the Kenji for about a year. DP & Exhaust with Jesse JB4 E40ish tune. Drive it hard and two track days. Zero CEL.
This sold me. Kenji it is.

I run Kenji catless (or function werk - whatever they call it). no CEL in thousands of miles. build quality excellent. bought secondhand from a member on here.

Yes it smells (obviously). Like others said, slightly raspy but sounds great with my stock catback.

For those with the 200 CEL street version, how's the smell? Assuming there is a bit, but is the difference appreciably less than full caters? Wanting to go 200 CEL over completely catless if that is the case.

Also, question here for my fellow MT owners, does the catless no CEL really matter? Our cars supposedly run like shit catless without a tune, so I am wondering if any brand will work at that point? (Provided its 3.5" throughout to match my rk ti)

Fellow MT owner. I've heard of issues of people running catless without tunes experiencing something like a "Boost Cut" or I guess failsafe mode (Example: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/mt-supra-overboosting-throttle-closure-with-catless-dp.20220/)

But essentially because of the extra flow provided by a catless DP, the car builds boost too quickly/can overshoot the boost target on the factory map and when that happens the ECU cuts throttle/ignition as a failsafe.

On an MT car it really seems like if you don't want to tune, you need to stick with catted DP at best, or go fullsend and FEMTO/Tune to properly run catless.
