Finally track prepping. Wheels, tires, brake pads and fluid. Getting ready for Bimmer Challenge.
Found another advantage to the base model: no paint on the calipers to worry about. ?

Tint is the first thing I do. Literally as I'm driving off the lot, I'm making the appt. Can't fish bowl. Haha. Even in California, I'd do it, and just have it redone if I got rolled. Single cheapest mod imo. Changes the whole stance.
I agree.
I bought my Supra on a Saturday dropped it off for ceramic coating on Monday and had an appointment set to tint the windows Friday when I picked it up from the ceramic shop.

Feb 25, I believe it is. I will be skipping Chuckwalla as I can't make that trip, but hoping to do the following round at Las Vegas motor speedway. If I work it right, I should only end up missing three of their events.
I can't wait to get out to Buttonwillow so I can do an apples to oranges comparison of this car versus the Evo. I'm told our cars due really well there.

I've got such bad car ADD that I'm always slow on mods and never get around to tint.

Been living the fishbowl bowl life for so long I have just gotten used to it

If I can make it work, I'll meet you out at the Vegas event! I might try to make the late March streets event too since it's on my bday weekend.

What times did your evo do at Buttonwillow? Curious to see how I do compared to it as I have never been there.

I got it down to 1'56.xxx on four year old NT01s. With some a052s, I could have managed a 1'53".999.
Let me know if you make it to any of those other events.
I'm down to meet somebody at Buttonwillow, I need to run the Supra to get an apples to oranges comparison to the Evo.

Homestead cars and coffee weekend ? ?

The biggest compliment, to me, is all the people that want to know more about the car at the track. New Vette guys, Porsche peeps, a new Lotus buddy, you name it. How is it so fast on the straights? What have you done to the engine? Is that a Supra? LOL

Adding to the fun, lots of fans came to watch FARA racers and us. Tons of families coming up to my car, lots of questions and pictures with their kids ?

I know you’re going to have a blast kaj! It’s really nice knowing you don’t have to do a heck of a lot out of the box to go really fast on track ?

It is. Check my build thread. Link is in my signature. Engine's been out all winter, it was off to billy for the works.
