haha I highlighted that for another reason, but let's just say the marketing folks at that event may not have a great understanding of engineering concepts lol.
Highlighted in for another reason? besides the 0.5 bar rather than psi? maybe referencing how little boost its running? aka....headroom.....? idunno lol

The car may feels underpowered because its running really low boost... aka easily fixable situation ? Sometimes it feels like a game of mental sudoko unraveling these bolded a70 hints...

I'd like to just come out and explain it, but it's not my place especially now that they asked me to keep things quiet (been trying).
Built-in boost controller so we can turn the boost up to 9001psi for ALL THE HORSEPOWERZ??!1!

Makes it easily drivable, with low boost.

Is there something in the computer or modes to come like Sport Plus mode that changes the amount of boost that is used? Or is that something that can't be done without breaking open and tinkering with the car.

There was no test drive that allowed the drivers by themselves as they had a representative in the passenger seat. Maybe there really is another option being worked on so it flows open.Though, I wonder how Toyota rates the engine.

Also, does this have anything to do with it being eU-spec?

Are there any comparisons between BMW and the Supra yet?

While I haven't been able to drive the Z4 for comparison, another journalist on the trip mentioned that the driving dynamics between both cars are different. BMW calibrates their vehicles to be more on the aggressive side, whereas Toyota spent a great deal of time making the Supra with a distinctive Japanese taste. Everything from the steering, suspension and drivetrain should feel noticeably smoother.
I’m really wondering that the Supra should be the smoother one and the Z4 the more aggressive. I thought the opposite.

What’s the message you wanna bring to me?
It's this
"I picked up on it as well, but not sure with BMW motors if you're able to increase boost as easily as our JZ motors. I've never really been a fan of BMW, so I am completely lost when it comes to tuning, upgrading turbos, etc... on these engines."

In the days of direct injection and modern ECU's doesn't 0.5 BAR or 7-8PSI seem quite low? A lot of these new boosted cars are running above 1 BAR of boost.

I wonder how much room is left in that stock turbo
