What did you do to your Supra today?

Mod #2 since getting the car and first purchase direct from Japan with an amazing 4 day delivery time!

This was easy peasy, lemon squeezy to install (~20mins) where the only fiddly bit was holding a nut under the wheel arch while screwing a bolt into it from the top of the strut with the wheel still on. The solution is a bit of double sided tape with the nut stuck onto the end of your finger.

I feel I am now on the slippery slope towards mod-a-geddon ending with the wife divorcing me.. ?

Also, looks like the weather may soon be warm enough to put the CF spoiler on that’s been sat here for what feels like 10,000 years.

Final thought…

That engine cover really should be CF… don’t ya think?? ?

PS Does this strut brace actually do anything other than look good… I have my doubts.. ? (my car is a 2020 which had no struts brace fitted at all)

def looks good. It DOES help stiffen the chassis. Will you notice?- doubt it.

Yesterday was definitely a mental re-set for me. I need more seat time, I'm going to prioritize that over mods to the car since I need to fix the "driver" first to really match up with the car.

You should get a CF cover. If you ordered from rhdjapan. Their stuff is decently priced and sometimes will have random discounts. Add more parts to the cart.

Yesterday was definitely a mental re-set for me. I need more seat time, I'm going to prioritize that over mods to the car since I need to fix the "driver" first to really match up with the car.

My first track day was last year in March with the free Toyota one. 1 year of seat time later with 20+ autocross events, 1 more track day, and a racing simulator and I've made crazy progress. The only mod I've made in this comparison video is a front sway bar. I've run OEM tires on both of these and I had a damp track this year. Put in the time and it'll more than pay off rather than mods.

I REALLY like those wheels and especially on our car colour!

They are the first aftermarket wheels I have seen pics of that I could actually see myself buying one day. I bet they ain’t cheap!!

I guess you have your car lowered a bit? And spacers too?

Yep I’m obsessed with the new Vossen 20” VFS6 wheels as well. No regrets ditching black wheels (just much easier to keep clean) along with dust-free ceramic brake pads. No spacers needed… just the correct offset.

Yes I’m slightly lowered on Eibach Euro Z4 springs at just .8” drop front and rear. I didn’t want the slammed look. Cheers!
