Hello,

I have been having a squeaking coming from the wheel whenever I turn it. It only happens after I have been using the car for about an hour. I have attached a video of the sound it makes. It usually gets much louder than in the video and I am wondering if there is an easy fix to this? I am assuming I just need to put some grease somewhere, but I am unsure where to put said grease.

Thanks for any help!

ya that is odd. Try greasing any suspension components related to steering, Ie Tie rods etc? but I would just take it the dealer, more than likely under warranty.

It’s typically from the metal contact points on the steering hub … they need a touch of white lithium grease. Common for bmws.

I am assuming you just have to take the steering wheel off and then you can apply some grease?

Correct. If it’s under warranty… the dealer will do so with stock wheel.
