I'm very curios to see the answer to this question. I have a set of 305/30/19 rear tires and I was also super curios to see if I could put those bad boys onto my stock wheels. Btw Im stock ride hight.

People have put 305s on the stock wheels, but my understanding is it’s not ideal. Handling suffers since they’re not sized right and the rear ends up squirmy. 295 is better.

what do you mean "squirmy" can I do some burnouts and launches in them? thats all I wanna do with them cause otherwise they are scrap. I don't wanna run them long term

Squirmy, squirrelly, wriggly, unstable. Basically the wheel (and therefore the car) is able to move laterally while the tire stays still because the sidewall is ballooned out and isn’t able to hold the proper shape.

If it’s just to mess around with then I’m sure it’s fine

You should only go to 305 if you upgrade to a wider wheel. Otherwise it’s oversized on the stock wheel.

What people are trying to get you to realize that yes,305’s will fit, but not ideal. Stop being cheap and get new rims and you can go even wider.
