Hence why I bought mine on Monday - it's an August 2022 build, but only had 218 miles on the clock.
Was too good to
Wow mate that is ridiculous!I ordered my Pro manual and just collected
It todayā¦.. got it home and realised it wasnāt a āproā.
The car is stunning, just raging that there is no head up display and bum heaters. Called the dealer and they said they would investigate and also mentioned at the same time that the manual was no longer available in UK.
Stunning car so Iāll keep it, but Iām pissed of. I ordered the extras as I wanted them, now there is no way to even return the car and re-order.
Was blown away by the car in general so yes, I didnāt notice until I drove the 3
Miles homeā¦. (I did just return from 5 weeks offshore so I probably wasnāt in the best frame of mine to start with!)
Yes Iāll probably have to keep it as you canāt order a manual now according to Toyota UK.Wow mate that is ridiculous!
I believe the main differences are you don't get JBL, seats have far less electric settings, the middle part of the seat is alcantara instead of leather, no HUD, (I have the NON Pro 3.0 MT, in Yellow, so essentially... your car! lol).
I hope you decide to keep it anyway! The main thing I wonder now is, your PCP (I assume you're financing) would need to be reduced, as I think it was 2-3 grand difference so maybe that helps too
I just got another car (daily) with HUD, so at least my HUD fix is sorted lol, did like it on the Supra though...
Not bothered about jbl as I hardly ever listen to music, I bought the Supra 99% for it looks and for the B58 sound so why cover it up with music?
Electric seats are cool, but then I realized, no one else drives my car, I set it up once and never touched it again so don't really matter? Except the heating in winter I suppose...
Hope this helps take your mind off it lol and congratulations, let us know how you get on, did you find reverse gear quite difficult to engage?
Absolutely, and furthermore it's just pathetic because one of the selling points of the Supra is the extremely simplistic spec, there's just TWO choices, and they still got it wrong!Yes Iāll probably have to keep it as you canāt order a manual now according to Toyota UK.
what you described is basically my car on the seat situation. To be honest, I adore the car as itās what I have been dreaming off, so to be honest Iām actually starting To feel very frustrated/disappointedā¦ā¦.
Drove the car all day and I adore it, but the fact that itās first have the āProā options is annoying me more than I thought. I did finance it so Iāll be calling the dealer back tomorrow to find out what the story is and adjust the price as required.
The dealer has been great and made the entire process very easy, however, Iām sure they should have noticed the specification ad they had the car in their showroom for a month before I collected it today. (Working offshore/over seas)
Itās just annoying as the car is stunning yet it lacks the small interior things that I picked. Feeling a little underwhelmed after waiting to get my hands on it. If I had the choice to hand it back I probably would, but manuals are clearly hard to come byā¦ā¦.
I actually watched the dealer select the options during the ordering process so I know itās not their fault, looks like wrong delivery on the part of Toyota UK but stillā¦.. pretty poor that I could pick this up after a 3 mile drive home.
Don't know how many times it needs to be said on here. But there is no order system. Dealer puts in desired spec and Toyota just sends an allocation and hope it matches or close to your spec. They don't build to specific specs sent in.Yes Iāll probably have to keep it as you canāt order a manual now according to Toyota UK.
