Tbh I would hold off on the swan neck wing to see if it warps our trunk long-term wise. I have a friend who has their kit on his GR86, his trunk is warped from the swan neck wing.

I wish some of these carbon front lip options came in…not carbon. Front lips are consumable IMO (and apparently Porsche’s opinion, too, as their GT cars’ front lips are also not carbon). I really the kit FWIW.

Adro's geogous BMW G8X front bumper is polyurethane so they have the ability. The moulding process is different so I'm sure it was a choice of picking one or the other for the initial run for such a small production.

Really hope they do a full face lift for the GR supra or a more agressive option but, am doubtful given how late into the car's lifecycle they are releasing it.

This is the first I’m hearing about anything like this. How are the swan neck wings anchored?

For the Supra, they are supplying a reinforcement plate, I mentioned that in my firs post. They are doing this specifically to avoid any warping

I like this swan neck wing but the issue is it's not tall enough.

Is there chance they will release a version with taller uprights (2.5-3 inches taller) ?

I assume it's for looks? Otherwise, they cfd designed this wing and its at the optional height/position for downforce with least amount of drag. They would have made it higher if it needed to be. If you need it to be higher for looks for whatever reason, you can make some extensions but they won't be releasing one (at least that I know of)

How much lower than stock does the front lip sit I wonder?? Because I put a carbon fiber front lip on before and it was a couple inches lower than stock and I literally rip it off my supra pulling into my driveway for the first time coming home from the install.

You can see the center section, that's about stock lip height (as the stock lip is almost above the bottom of the bumper line). This at the thicker sections looks to be about 2'' lower than stock

There will be a cut out in the trunk required on the plastic trim, there's going to be a supplied reinforcement plate, and a nice dry carbon plate with hardware to cover the cut out section
