Exactly my point. EOS is expensive and I am sure works great for big power cars and people with ice boxes but most people aren't big power. I've had logs shared with me from a supra with an EOS manifold that sees turny wheel track use and the data is basically the same as my Wagner.

People just need to be realistic with their needs and usage. Wagner is half the price and worth buying. Saying it isn't is just not accurate. Just like not everyone goes WOT for 20 mins like I do, not all people have 700whp+ and go WOT for just 8 secs.
Sure but that brings me back to my point at those power levels you are talking about anything will work. So why not just spend $200 on a phenolic spacer. Thats where you are getting a ton of heat removal getting the manifold off the block.

Do you have data on a $200 spacer added to a OEM manifold being able to shed temps like an aftermarket manifold does?

Never heard of Project Gamma, figured I do a search and some reading.
Come to find out they are local to me.

YMMV:

I'm thinking they're probably reusing the Wagner core like RK, or China's started making B58 intake manifolds

Man... this "THIS ONE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS" crap is getting old and also not accurate.
Definitely this, I think the better rule is that if you're paying over $3000, might as well go EOS, otherwise stay stock or go RK.

This is literally all they did to the CSF manifolds when they werent working.

They also have done this on older b58s BMS and VTT sell one.

Because you are making a statement. No data to back it up.
Maybe read back at what I said and what you said. I said it would work for heat removal by getting manifold off block. Then you asked for data on charged air temps.

It would work for removing heat since the manifold would no longer be directly on the block. Thats been proven again see CSF the original design did not use a spacer. It wasnt able to actually remove heat until the installed a phenolic spacer.

You made a statement that a spacer added to the OEM manifold would work just as well as an aftermarket manifold that wasn't the "holy grail EOS". I asked if you had data showing an OEM manifold with a spacer performing the same as an aftermarket manifold. You don't.

This is another thing I am getting at. Nobody shares anything yet a lot of people make big claims. I've seen this trend on new car platforms for 30+ years. It's always the same. In a couple years, some people will jump to the new platforms and some people will still be here and more information sharing will happen. It's the lifecycle I have seen happen time and time again.

Hondas had a veil of secrecy at the beginning too, now my mom could put together a great performing Honda without paying "Experts" from the information that is out there.

I dont know if you realize this yet, but there's multiple groups on Facebook where we have all shared data from tuners, end users, manufacturers etc.

You just deflected again and also still didn't share any data to prove your statement. It's okay. As I stated above, things will progress.

I really appreciate that you consistently say "where is the data to back such and such up" and then also you provide the data for parts you purchase. Probably in part due to my job where its always "that sounds great, show me the evidence" and we frequently find the evidence doesn't support whatever argument the client was posing, which of course sounded great at first.
