Get on it ASAP! lol. I have driven my MT FRS throughout the year for 9 years. Was still my winter beater with Supra. I can't imagine the more powerful Supra with wider and bigger tires doing any better in the snow :)
Luckily you have MT, so you can play around better with gears to find traction but I dunno. Part of me wanted to drive the Supra in winter to see how it behaves, but didn't want a costly mistake :D

Surely for stopping you have to get on the brakes early on. Turning is the big issue and somewhat changing lanes right. Mostly it's from stop and go when FWD cars behind you want to get going and you've stuck your ass out revving the car looking for traction. I've experienced this on even the gentler inclines. You need to build up speed :D

Anyhow, good luck.
I'll continue my search for a winter beater! Luckily my commute to work is short so it's not too big of a concern but still would need the winter tires for peace of mind. I had an Evo X before this so it'll definitely be a trial by fire situation with the Supra haha.

Thanks for the advice! I'm a pretty cautious driver so I'm somewhat curious as to how it'll behave in the winter too. The biggest concern is other drivers... It's been so bad lately with distracted drivers and construction.

Drove my supra through last winter with the PSS on them still.

Was mostly fine besides the bigger snow storms. But def getting either winter wheels or winter beater this year.

Damn, you're brave! haha. But yea, better safe than sorry. Let me know what tires you end up with. I might just go with with Blizzaks.

That was my go to on FRS.
Wanted to try Michelin Pilot Alpin. Didn't get a chance.
I think finding oem size snow tires is the difficult part

Some of the guys on this forum had some luck at TireRack. I don't remember what specifications they went with but i'll have to revisit those threads.

Anyone in the area have exhaust and catless or catted downpipe. I have a HKS exhaust getting ready to go on and want to do a downpipe for some more sound. Just a weekend car. 23 locked dme no tune. Armytrix catless looks good for no CEL but don’t want it too raspy or loud and obnoxious so maybe the AA catted? Would like to hear some in person. Plan on being at the first cars and coffee at M1 this year.
