For whatever reason, after 2 months of ownership I opened this bin in the hatch. Is there supposed to be something there? Lol

Emergency roadside reflective triangle. I forget the part number. US spec Supras did not come with it. I ordered one. Like $40 or something. Shows it in the user manual

Ok Cool. Thank you. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be like fix a flat or something. If that's in the car somewhere, I haven't looked yet lol

Also depends on if you have premium or not. The base model has a totally different type of knob that does not have that functionality and is smaller physically.

Premium:

That’s hard to unsee now…. Dammit Bryan! Maybe the BMW base Z4 is the same way? I’d still buy the base if I coulda found one and saved me some coin. And found some premium rear calipers so I‘d have access to more pads. That was my only concern with the base. Until now ?

Wow this is so weird, I never knew, but that looks awful.

I'm so glad in the UK even the "base" model comes with the big knob, here's my knob (Mods don't ban me please)

We still get the small knob B58, though.

After an emergency puncture repair/tyre replacement, the only tyre available was a 255/35/19 on the rear which didn’t balance well with the other 275/35/19 on the rear.

In the wet with hard pulls it was noticeably unstable.

So I took it down and got two matching Toyo Proxes in 275/39/19 so that the rears were both equal.

The difference was that a pilot sport was 300 quid for one. 2x Toyo we’re 336…… now I know you need quality tyres and can’t buy ditch finders for a car like this but so far, the Toyos have performed well and I really can’t feel 2x the performance to equal 2x the cost. More ‘testing’ required. So far so good. Will be interesting to see their wet weather performance nexT. Considering my car is stock horsepower, these should be decent enough until I start modifying. I think at least for now the important factor is to have matching tyre pattern and dimensions.

Plus, as the two mismatched rears were basically new, I now have two spares…. One that matches the front size (255) and one for the rear….

Plugged. My OCD would love it to be flush but my OCD is also lazy and didn’t want to mess with it being in the tread.

Also, the puny punk ass motherfucker that caused it.

Although I've used plugs in the past when in a pinch, I'd be very weary of "plugging" a tire on a high performance/high speed vehicle. A true dismount, prep, and Patch Plug is the best way to do it, and even then I'd be hesitant to work the tires really hard. Just sayin'

Figure if it doesn’t work I’ll just buy new tires. No big deal.

So lemme guess. We still have the same engine, hardtop, weigh & cost less. Anyone else start on the BMW build page and end up with this Toyota Supra? Gotta admit, I like the Z4 and love BMW. But once I found out all of the above - hello Toyota ??
