I agree with all y’all. Except Checo is in the same car and nowhere near Max’s capability. He has reached a pinnical that no one can deny. Clearly well deserved. Love watching Max drive!

Yet Sergio is no 2 in the points. Lewis is close to overtaking that position. Back to the race, Lewis is on softs, George is on mediums. MB should have talked strategy and said if Lewis has the shot, go for it (being on those soft tires). After all, he still is Lewis Hamilton…. So George, know your surrounding. You are a good driver. Want to be even better? Show it by working as a team with one of the best drivers in the business. Where is Toto? He needs to be present to reel that situation in.
No doubt Perez isn't at the same level, but he's also one of the few drivers who have won from last which in my mind stands for something; he got into some weird mental space after Azerbaijan and hasn't gotten out of it.

Team orders are fine, but it's hard to invert the order in traffic, especially off the start. George might've had understeer, but I think Hamilton got greedy and forgot that races aren't won on lap 1 turn 1.

Looks like it might be another person other than Max winning this race. Come on Lando, time to pop that race win cherry!
Don't bet on it. Max is at his best when he has a point to prove. The car works well around COTA so he'll be slicing his way through.

Buddy was wearing a McLaren Lando shirt this past weekend at the track. Soooooo cool ?

Yeah, he’s the last guy you want to push on track. It’s pretty obvious that he’s in their head for sure. I wish Lando could do it. Maybe as a future teammate, a mechanical failure, or a Tonya Harding hitman (I could see Toto doing that)…. everyone is looking for a chink in his armor. No doubt!

Always miss Friday qualification. Fuckin work..
That is so me ?

I did finally buy the F1 or channel or whatever the F‘(one) it’s called, thanks to these guys & this thread ?? - $80/year subscription- not bad considering my wife and I are so damn hooked now. It’s supposed to be the bomb ? diggity. We’ll be watching after 7PM ? - on my ipad or computer. Non techie here so I’ll have to find a way to stream it to the bedroom telly ?
*(our official Max 2023 champ RB merch just came in - we’ll be wearing our shirts - in bed LOL)*

Good Canadian boy that does a lot of commentary and interviews for Indy Car and likely some other racing events. He obviously has a lot of driving experience so he at least has some knowledge of what these drivers go through.

Very telling to see just how much Max still cares about winning even after both championships are done. I don’t think it’s him trying to make more records, I just think he loves to race and always wants to be at the front.

I won’t be surprised if McLaren can pass Aston in the standings this weekend for 4th. Makes me hopeful that next season they can challenge Ferrari and Mercedes for second and third in the standings. I fully expect RB to be dominating again next year, just hopefully not to the level as this season.

If you have a smart TV you can project it to the TV using the button highlighted in the picture:
