I wanted to create a thread to discuss using the A90 to travel and go play a round of golf.

The obvious first question is does a bag and set of clubs fit in the hatch at all?

Will a cart bag fit, or do we need a more compact stand bag?

Do we need to pull the driver and/or woods out of the bag to fit?

Any chance a push cart also fits in the hatch along with the golf bag?

Side note: It is impossible to transport a set of clubs in a Cayman 718 without unacceptable measures, like using the passenger seat.

From pictures, it looks like it should. There is nothing stopping you from putting golf bags under the rear support.

Thanks for the pic!

Iā€™m optimistic. Iā€™m curious to learn the vertical clearance at the rear of the storage area. Hopefully a cart bag (or at least a stand bag) can lay down with the bagā€™s base all the way to the rear of the storage area.

Are those speaker grills behind the seats?

Rough life you got there!! I mean if people are always going golfing and taking their Porsches, I think a set of golf clubs will fit in your new Supra. I don't play golf, so i have no idea haha

I play 50 rounds between April and October so I really :) need my sticks to fit in the hatch . Based on when I have visited the car at the Montreal and Toronto show I'm sure it will(couldn't touch -just rough eye measure) -I opened the trunk on the Z4 and due to the way the configure it for the roof the clubs will not fit.
Also a friend gets his in a BRZ so I'm confident it will.
Is there anyone who has actually had access to the car and can say that its 50' across the back of the trunk - right up against the taillights? Or on the diagonal?

Iā€™m thinking diagonal. A big question is if there is enough height between the floor and Liftback at the tail lamp section to fit the base of a bag lying down. I assume weā€™re golden if so.

In the UK Supra Showcase they showed a full size golf bag fitting easily sideways in the boot, but for whatever reason they showed it with no clubs... I think with the opening it will be difficult to get the bag with clubs in but it should fit some way easily enough.

Dude, you need to google these things call ā€˜track daysā€™! Youā€™ll never have to fill your summer months with golf again! Plus a helmet fits in the boot without any problems.

Is it me or are the Sub-woofer Speakers fake as well like the Vents?

I LOVE the new SUPRA and I love GOLF
Golf Nut Math coming up.....
An average cart bag (I have a Mizuno) with my sticks in it is 50 inches tall and 16" round roughly 5.8 cubic feet not squishing it at all.
www.smartconversion.com/unit_calculation/Volume_of_a_Cylinder.aspx
A Clicgear push cart is 13" X15"X24" folded for 2.8 cubic feet
www.smartconversion.com/unit_calculation/Volume_of_a_Cuboid.aspx

So 5.8 plus 2.8 is 8.6 cubic feet -the specs say the Supra has 291 liters = 10.2 cubic feet
It will be a tight fit , the opening will create a diagonal entry that depending on the depth of the hatch/trunk depth we will
have to angle the bag in to the space behind the tail lights . From videos of the hatch space it seems that the space behind the tail lights will be the best .
The rear wheel track width is 62.6 inches soooo looking at the 50" length I feel as the trunk floor is flat and there is room to the left and right of the opening this will be the best bet for the bag. I have looked at the BMW Z4 and with the roof down a set with the woods out would fit . The Supras hatch/trunk space is a bit bigger so I think if getting them in is possible through the opening the bag/clubs will fit but adding a push cart might be tight.
I have a Acura tsx 13.2 cubic feet trunk and can fit 2 sets and two carts tightly.
lets hope one of the reviews after the embargo supply's more info.
