Hi guys,

I recently been getting a metallic click near the rear end when going into Drive/Reverse and coming to a stop or accelerating from a stop. The problem is pretty intermittent, and it seems to occur less when I am in normal mode and not in sport mode. My main concern is that it will get worse over time and may be a bushing or a loose bolt.

The only thing that has been done with the car is wheel spacers that have been re-torqued and bimmercode, My Supra is a 2022 with 11k miles only.

The video is me going from Park>Reverse>Drive>Neutral>Reverse... ebrake was disengaged beforehand with my foot on the brake

just before the car moves, it will make a metallic click which is much louder in person

Could be a centre tail shaft bearing. Low mileage though. I have had them fail at low mileages recently, not on a Supra though. The rubber bearing support was fine the bearing had failed internally probably due to a lack of lubrication. In that case the first symptom was a very slight clunking noise when moving off without any throttle. You wouldn't hear it with the radio on it was very slight. After a few thousand KLMs it became a clicking noise going from reverse to fwd in carparks at less then walking speeds. I could tell it was tailshaft related as it was too fast to be at wheel speed. Get under the car and push/pull on the tailshaft at the centre bearing and any squeaking or noise at all it will either be the centre bearing the uni joint or even the tail shaft splines needing grease.

Would this require dropping the exhaust and heat shield to access it?

To give it the push pull check the heat shields would need to come off but not the exhaust.
