Any MT Supras in the Area for Drive

Hey! Lurking this forum for a bit as I’m interested in the car and I came from a M2C (Manual) previously so wanted to see how the manual supra felt and if anyone wanted a coffee/bribe to take their vehicle around a lot in NoVA.

Currently have a raptor so if you’re interested in driving that, you’re more than welcome to try that.

It feels weird to post this but dealers in this area either don’t have the car or don’t want miles (the former more). Figure it’s also a good opportunity to meet a Supra local and see what the community is like around here.

I had an M2C a few years back and went truck for a while. This time around I’m looking at adding to stable instead of replacing.

Thanks for extending the offer, I’ll definitely keep it in the pocket.

I was in that camp where I assumed at an I-6TT was THE recipe for a Supra but started doing more research on the mk5 and the platform plus potential and it definitely makes its own compelling case… just wish that these things were easy to test drive

I tried Toyota in Tyson but they only had an Orange one they that they just let sit there with no drives. I have a deposit on a blue one through Arlington but they have none for me to take out so was scouring nearish to me.

There is a manual on Turo that is available every once in a while in the area if you cannot find a dealer that will let you drive one. I was close to resorting to the same until I found a dealer willing to let me drive one, and I ended up purchasing that one.
