What's your setup? What's your advice on my next mod? I'm thinking wider wheels with road legal slicks?
he runs like 8s on the 1/4
0. Sport Mode
1. Tap Traction Control - (turn off traction)
2. Hold Traction Control - (turn off VSC)
3. Switch to manual mode
4. Burnout in First gear in the water box
5. Approach staging lights
6. Shift to 2nd
7. Attempt to push the brake pedal through the floor with your LEFT foot
7a. Pump Brake Pedal HARD
8. While holding the brake pedal down, bring RPMs up to ~2k RPMs quickly (you'll feel the car "squat"), this is the torque converter loading. Boost will climb.
9. On Green - Mash gas & release brake
10. Shift when you see the indicator reach 55-5600 RPMs (stock turbo)
10a. Don't shift out of 5th, ride it through.

Pushing much harder than 2200 RPMs loading up the converter is a sure-fire way to snap an axle after a couple of passes, and it's 3-4 months for a DSS axle. Careful.
i would say flash a stock ROM and run to compare. definitely slow, even for spinning, etc.

if you're on let's say 17" drag radials, trying to launch at an ECUTEK tuned level, reaching 600wtq, you're going to need aftermarket axles, as prev. mentioned

in addition, more grip will be achieved by a taller sidewall and soft suspension for weight transfer. at this level anyway. so leave everything in sport except suspension

also dude never mention "Stage sumn" again. more people would've positively engaged in your thread if you hadn't said that

Tires and learning the car. The stock tires aren't doing you any favors on launching as evidenced by that 60' time.

As previously mentioned your trap speed is low for being tuned. Did you datalog these pulls by any chance?

Stock tires are still good for a 1.8x 60ft. So I think step 1 for OP is learning to launch properly.

In the UK we move from stage 3 to 4 by fitting an exhaust system. In the case of the A90 B58 the Exhaust is very good so buying an aftermarket exhaust just to quote my car being stage 4 doesn't make sense so I've settled with Decat Downpipe and Mid Box/OPF Delete.
Can anyone tell me an exhaust is a must on a car with all the mods I have and why?
Reading on exhaust seller websites it's only agrpovich that say a power gain of 6hp will be gained. Other than I'd like a louder exhaust lower down the rev range, I'd say I'm happy with the standard exhaust.
Yea no, not with that trap speed.
What does this mean.

Driver mod, but what tires?
Ignore 3.5, It was a stupid error on my part making up stages as I thought having half the exhaust made it 3.5.
I have edited that post now.

I do have some data logs exported from ecutek in excel format if you can make any sense of them. I can't see any data that is relatable to tuning files.
