I am currently FBO with a zeitronix ECA 2 flex fuel ki, and I’m in the process of sending data logs back and forth with my tuner for a flex fuel tune. Recently, I’ve noticed an issue with my ethanol gauge. Occasionally, it randomly drops to 0 and then spikes back up to around 50 (E50). This fluctuation seems to happen at random intervals. Since the sensor is what adjusts the tune, each time the gauge stops reading, I experience zero turbo spool for about 5 seconds—even if I floor the gas, the turbo won’t spool even 1 psi. This happens every time the ethanol gauge stops reading.this has only been happening to me the past couple 4 days and I've had this installed for 1.5 months and haven't had this issue
I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue or knows what could be causing the problem with the sensor. I initially thought it might be related to the tune until I saw the gauge turning on and off randomly. I’ve checked the wires spliced into the ECU, and everything seems intact. I'm stuck and unsure what to do from here. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
