When I switched from OE to CSG pads...I bought new rotors for the car. When I switched the fronts from CSG to Pagid RSL29, I bought new front rotors for the car. I suppose while we're b!tchin' about brake pads, I'll report back on the RSL29s again.

At this point, I've done 5 track days with the car on these pads, all at CMP (notoriously hard on brakes).

Pros:
They are consistent and predictable from cold to hot
They work well cold
I've yet to fade them (back to back sessions with 2 drivers)
Easy-to-feel release characteristics
Easy on rotors compared to CSGs
Bedded on the street with new rotors, no shudder at all
Good street manners


Cons:
Price - expensive, but at least cheaper than CSGs
Availability is sparse
Not a lot of initial bite, especially compared to CSGs...but these are enduro pads so that's probably a feature, not a bug
Easy to overdrive - likely a "me" problem, but I end up overshooting the braking zones more than I'm used to. I'm also more aggressive at CMP than ANYWHERE else, again probably a me problem.

Yeah, I do a lot of late braking/trail braking, I bang off a lot of curbs, I hang the tail out in 14 a lot, I use a lot of "race line" that points me at someone's door at a couple of places on track. Most of my laps at CMP are in LeMons races, so my habits are getting to places where I can get inside of you and pass. Next time I'm there, I need to make a conscious effort to take the DE line in a few places and see if it drops my lap time.

My decision is made up. I'll be switching to Endless ME20 next year and report back. Will still keep the PMU Club racers, maybe eventually I'll be willing to try them again.

Has anyone else here run the ME20, or are you doing like I did for the RSL29 and taking one for the team?

I have not seen a lot of people running them in the Supra community, but found a few threads on Porsche and BMW forums that were quite promising.

I ordered them 2 months ago from Japan, they were 400USD shipped (front and rear), which is a pretty good price point to try them out.

They are 650USD+ ordered from a US supplier

I've never had an issue mixing pad compounds; if I bought new rotors every time I tried a different pad I'd be broke(r).. ? FAFO, I guess..

And I typically don't replace rotors until I delete the slots.

Good info. I may give these a whirl depending on how the PMU hold up at the CMP torture test. On my C7Z I ran Girodisc GP40, which per KNS is the same pad as CSG, and they worked well at VIR. The following weekend I was able to fade them at CMP... ? IMO the compound is much better suited for lighter cars like the Supra and they are stupid $$$.

Looking at fortune auto 510 and was suggested 9kg front springs, front shock stroke increased to 117mm and 6-inch main spring with a helper in the front / 14kg rear. Anyone run anything similar to this? Is this a good setup? Is it worth adding on Heim Joints?

car is only used for spirited canyon driving and track (Drive back and forth)

Springrates not disclosed, but Evans build is quite similar to yours.

Myself run 10k/18k on my FA510s and it performed well (as expected) at the Dragon.

I wouldn’t want to get rid of those nice rotors either! I they weren’t cracked ? My rotors are cheap. I will say the p mu 999s came recommend highly to me. After giving them a go, my fav pad so far (yet to try CSG). Curious if anyone else has tried them on the Supra?

Yeah, you weren't kidding about "deleting the slots." That's getting your money's worth out of the rotor rings. At least the hats are re-usable. Are you running some kind of ducting to the caliper/rotor on the C7Z?

All the front rotors on my LeMons Mustang end up cracking in a similar manner...and we have a homemade ducting solution still sitting in a box, planning to do that in the offseason.
