MKIV inspired.

The MKV definitely needs a wing....and I have no doubt that one will be available in the near future. What I would like to see are more aero extensions to enhance the lower parts of the car (i.e., front lip, side skirt lips, rear valances, etc...). Add those with a nice rear wing, and lower the car a bit....and it will look wayyy better. I think there will be more though, patiently waiting...:D

The problem with adding a wing, assuming you are talking about something similar to the MKIV wing. Is that the wing will look awkward due to the fact that the trunk opening is much more narrow. Please ignore that picture you quoted. (it is way exaggerated because the trunk is no longer functional)

The only wing that will work is the FT-1 design because it is much smaller and fits into the FT-1 trunk lid when down. The other thing to consider is that the wing will probably not be functional and is purely for aesthetics. Similar to the vents. The MKIV wing was designed to be functional so not only did it match the design of the car but it also served a purpose. Honestly, for me I rather have a wing that is straight from the factory and is functional.

Oh I never said I wanted a MKIV style wing on the MKV....no sir. It has to be something smaller and narrower. It will complete that rear area very nicely. I think a RCF style active wing would work perfectly
