Original post:

We just captured photos of a new 2018/2019 Toyota Supra prototype that has dropped some of its disguise to reveal more production-intent design and parts.

Partly exposed are portions of the Supra MKV's front bumper, large front air intakes, headlights, and a more shapely and tapered rear end with different tail lights than those seen on the earlier mules.

Thanks for posting. I have to say it's looking like that Jalopnik rendering may have been on point. I still think there are some fake or donor parts on this car that are making it look frumpy.

@BrettS nice shot! Get some more for us, the interior plz. Any clues about engine/transmission?

At least we know the taillights have some potential!

That much closer to a reveal... too wishful hoping for 2017 NAIAS in January?? FT1 was unveiled at 2014 NAIAS.

Looks like some sort of fake intake mesh on the front :( at least driver's side. Hate that fake plastic intake mesh look. Hope that's just some sort of camo??

Did we know about those low vents behind the front fenders before?

Also see some sort of cutouts on the rear bumper... interesting.

Lots of potential. Will need to look at this more later.

the over all size looks right, but that front bumper and rear hip seems a little off.

Maybe Toyota is just messing with us by taking the Jalopnik render and basing the camouflage off of it!? :)

Because that front bumper right now looks strange. There's the camouflaged part and then it looks like there's like a full bumper behind it. Why wouldn't they open the air intake completely instead of having huge plastic body pieces blocking air flow in the air intake areas? Doesn't make sense from a performance standpoint and just strange looking from aesthetics standpoint. Wouldn't be shocked if that entire front bumper part was just camouflage cladding that totally comes off as more is revealed.

I can make out most of the lines of the car. Still not sure what's going on with the front bumper. I still think the production tail lights / head lights will not be the ones on the pics which could also change the front bumper a tad bit.
